Equipment

The AV Department provides: Tech Classroom training, equipment purchasing and consulting, Audience Response SystemsWhiteboard capture systems,  digital audio recorders, CD players, Digital video cameras, digital still cameras, web cameras, DVD players, and portable PA systems.  Faculty/staff may reserve AV equipment by calling 319-895-4261 or by submitting an online form. ALL REQUESTS SHOULD BE MADE AT LEAST 48 HOURS IN ADVANCE.

Laptop Computers and LCD Projectors

The AV Department has laptop / projections systems that may be checked out by staff and faculty only.  There is a maximum period of one week allowed for these systems.  Certain other restrictions apply.

Faculty Travel

We currently have laptops and tablet PC’s available for traveling and off campus events.

Video and Audio

Conference/Viewing

Room 108 is available for meeting, presentation, and film showings.  Provided in the room is a large screen video projection unit and a stereo system, including a CD and DVD player. Other equipment, such as overhead projectors may be used in these rooms as well. This room holds 25 people. Call 319-895-4261 or fill out an online form to reserve one of these rooms. Public use of this area requires a $25 deposit if AV technology is needed. 

Lost or Stolen Equipment

In the event of lost, stolen, or damaged equipment a replacement cost will be assessed and charged the faculty or staff members department.
