Each fall, the Center for Law and Society sponsors a group of students to attend the Law School Admission Council's (LSAC) Law School Forum held in Chicago, Illinois. LSAC sponsors several Law School Forums throughout the year in cities all across the United States. Each Forum provides students with the opportunity to connect with nearly 150 law schools in attendance, learn about the admission and financial aid process, and to get information about the LSAT.
As part of the trip, students also have the chance to meet with Cornell College attorney alumni working in the Chicago area. Over a lunch or dinner at a local law firm, pre-law students get to see another side of legal practice and to hear how a Cornell education has prepared alumni to be successful as legal professionals.
