Windows 7 and Vista (This method also works for Windows 8 and above)

Windows 7 users have two options: connecting to the pool of remote applications and downloading individual applications as needed.  The pool of remote applications will be the most convenient, but users will need to remember to update the stored password if their credentials are updated

  • Click Set up a new connection with RemoteApp and Desktop Connections

  • In the Email address or Connection URL field, enter https://vlab.cornellcollege.edu/RDWeb/Feed/webfeed.aspx

  • Click Next
  • Click Next again
  • When prompted for credentials, enter your entire Cornell College email address and your Cornell College password.  Optionally choose “Remember my credentials”
  • Click OK
  • Click Finish
  • All available emote applications will now be in a RemoteApp and Desktop connections folder in your Start Menu
  • When launching a remote application, choose Connect on the Do you trust the publisher prompt and optionally select the Don’t ask me again.. check box
