Remote Access

The office of Information Technology has a new remote access method for Faculty and Staff to access Cornell College technology resources from remote locations.  This technology is only supported in a Microsoft Windows environment.  If you have a mac, you will need to run Parallels or some other virtualization software to run a copy of Microsoft Windows.

In order to have this technology run on your Windows computer, it will need to have the following service packs installed.  For Windows XP, you will need Service Pack 3 installed.  For Windows Vista, Service Pack 1 will be needed. To check if your computer meets this requirement: Right-Click My Computer, select Properties, under System: it should tell you what service pack you have installed.
