Windows - Outlook 2007
Follow these instructions for connecting to Cornell's Exchange server with Outlook 2007. Please note that these settings will only work while on campus with a wired network connection or if connected to the "CornellWireless" network. These settings will not work while connected to "CornellGuest" or while off-campus.
Initial Setup
- Open Microsoft Outlook 2007
- On the Outlook 2007 Startup screen, click Next
- When prompted "Would you like to configure an E-mail account?", select Yes and click Next
- Outlook will automatically try to configure your account, verify that your account name is correct and click Next

- After Outlook has correctly configured all of your settings, click Finish
- Outlook will begin updating all of your e-mail folders
- You will be prompted "Do you want your RSS Feeds in Outlook to be synchronized with the Common Feed List?", the typical answer for this is No

Verifying Outlook Settings
- Click on Tools
- Select Accounts
- Highlight your Cornell account and click Change

- Verify that the Microsoft Exchange server is mail07.cornellcollege.edu and your User Name is correct then click on More Settings

- Each tab should be configured as follows
- General

- Advanced

- Security

- Connection

- Remote Mail

- General
- After verifying all tabs, click OK to accept settings
- Click Next
- Click Finish
