Administrative Assistant for Business Services

Applications are being accepted for the position of administrative assistant for business services. This position will provide administrative and clerical support for the Division of Business Services and assist the Vice President for Business Affairs with daily activities and special projects. This position will compose and prepare correspondence, memos, reports and other materials for the Business Office; answer or refer questions from faculty, staff, students and visitors; answer phones, direct calls, make referrals and take messages; respond to Business Services email; process mail; schedules appointments and maintains calendar for Vice-President, arranges meetings and meeting rooms/equipment, and coordinates travel arrangements. 

This position is also responsible for preparing materials for committee and Board of Trustee meetings, coordinating summer camps and conferences, administering credit and gas cards, managing College rental properties, maintaining the Business Services Division webpage, and coordinating risk management administration.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred. Three or more years of related experience required. This position requires a high level of interpersonal skills and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential situations. It also requires exceptional organizational, supervisory, communication, and logistical abilities and attention to detail. Successful applicants must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects at the same time. Must have strong computer skills, including advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of programs, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
