Your gift to the Annual Fund or Parents Fund furthers these parts of the Cornell experience. Unrestricted annual gifts allow the college the flexibility to set and fund innovative programs and offer extraordinary opportunities.

Who benefits from unrestricted Annual Fund and Parents Fund gifts?

• Cornell Students. Tuition and fees cover less than 85 percent of the total cost of each Cornellian's education. Annual Fund and Parents Fund gifts provide an important source of income that helps bridge the gap between what tuition covers and the actual cost of running the college.

• Cornell Faculty and Staff. Your gifts support salaries and benefits helping Cornell to attract and retain top-notch faculty and staff. This also helps the college offer small class sizes and allows students individual access to professors.

• Cornell Alumni. As annual giving and alumni participation increase, more resources are available to improve the quality of the Cornell experience. These build Cornell's reputation and in turn the value of a Cornell degree.
