Student Employment Job Descriptions

The minimum wage was raised to $7.25/hour in Iowa in January of 2008.  As of this date, all work-study position on campus are paid at the rate of $7.25/hour.  There are a few positions on campus that require specialized skills that are paid at the rate of $7.50/hour.  There are also a few positions on campus that require students to manage other student employees.  These positions are paid at the rate of $8.00/hour.  Not all job descriptions listed below have been updated to reflect the new wage rate.  If you have a question regarding the wage of a position are you interested in, please contact the supervisor.
