Students that have submitted their enrollment deposit to Cornell will be sent a check list in early June directing them to complete all or some of the following forms. If you are unsure of what forms you need to complete, please contact of Office of Financial Assistance.
Cornell Student Employment Application: Please complete this application only if you have been awarded federal work-study as part of your financial assistance award. Please print the form and return it to the Office of Financial Assistance.
Cornell Outside Scholarship Form: This form must be printed and completed ONLY if you are receiving outside scholarships.
William D. Ford Direct Loan Program
You will need to complete an Entrance Interview and Sign your Master Promissory Note for our office to process your Federal Direct Stafford Loan.
You may complete both steps on the Federal Student Loan webiste, studentloans.gov
Once on the site, sign in using your Federal PIN, in the Manage My Direct Loan box. Next, you will select the Complete Entrance Counseling and Complete Master Promissory Note links. Once these two steps are completed, we will be notified electronically, and process your Federal Direct Loan.
Your federal loans will be disbursed and credited to your student account in the Business Office each semester. Please contact the Financial Assistance Office if you have questions about the terms and conditions of your federal loan or should you decide to withdraw from the college before you complete your program of study. The Financial Assistance Office is located in the upper level of the Peter Paul Luce Center for Admission. Federal Direct Parent PLUS Loan
To apply for a Parent PLUS Loan please complete the following steps:
1. Complete the Federal Direct Parent PLUS Loan Cornell College Addendum
2. Complete Parent PLUS Loan Master Promissory Note
Once on the studentloans.gov site, sign in using your Federal PIN, in the Manage My Direct Loan box.
Next, you will select the Start PLUS Application Process. Then select Parent PLUS Loan as the loan type.
Once these two steps are completed, we will be notified electronically, and will process
your Federal Direct PLUS Loan.
