Environmental Policy & Values Concentration

All students majoring in Environmental Studies must take the following core courses:
- Physical Geology (GEO 111) or Investigations in Geology (GEO 114)
- Foundations: Cellular Biology (BIO 141)
- Foundations: Organismal Biology (BIO 142)
- Ecology (BIO 321) or an accredited off-campus ecology course
The concentration in Environmental Policy and Values entails the following:
- Environmental Geology (GEO 331)
- American Nature Writers (ENG 350)
- Environmental Ethics (PHI 224)
- Environmental Politics (POL 368) and POL 262 prerequisite
- Four electives numbered 200 or above (see the course catalogue for approved elective courses)
