Policies for Transfer and Continuing Education Students
All transfer students, including continuing education students, considering an education major must meet with the Education Department Chair when they are accepted to the college. Each student receives a detailed briefing on program requirements and assessments and a transcript review. The admissions counselors are informed of the requirements for this meeting and urged to have the transfer candidate contact the Education Department well ahead of the proposed enrollment date. Each year, the Education Department Chair meets with the Admissions Director and the admissions counselors to keep them up-to-date on the Education Department program and requirements.
