Talking to teens: How to interview adolescents in the clinical setting
Efficiently and effectively interviewing adolescent patients requires specific skills and knowledge. Explicitly learning these skills allows future healthcare providers to gain competency in the core areas of patient care, interpersonal and communication skills, and professionalism. This interactive workshop will give participants the opportunity to learn about and practice modeling and directed observation as a tool in developing adolescent interviewing skills in the clinical setting.
Any graduating student going into a healthcare graduate program or students anticipating applying to medical, dental, PA, or PT school are highly encouraged to participate!
Excellent prizes and food will be provided! Prizes include: restaurant and store giftcards, Bookstore giftcards, and Ratt Munch Money.
