Jeff Welder '07 is one of a growing number of students who are taking advantage of summer research opportunities at places like the Maine Medical Institute.

Summer Opportunities

Summer experiences such as research, internships, in-depth coursework, travel abroad, and volunteering are a great way to gain insight and experience in a particular field for an extended period of time. Experiences related to your future career goals will also strengthen your resume and applications to graduate school.

Applications for many summer research programs, educational programs, and international experiences are due in January and February. Follow the links below or contact the Dimensions coordinator for more information.

If you are interested in on-campus summer research, speak directly to the Cornell faculty member with whom you are interested in working with before spring break. Students working with Cornell faculty members receive a summer stipend of $1000/month and housing is available on campus.
