The Counseling Center is open from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., M-F, with extended hours available Tuesday. Appointments are preferred; walk-ins are on a space available basis and are generally not available.

You can email us with questions about our services or comments about our website, but we do not schedule appointments via email because email is not considered a confidential communication. Additionally, staff members may not check e-mail with regularity or frequency, and do not access email outside of Counseling Center hours. Sexual Assault
If you or someone you know has been affected by sexual assault, the following links provide information about options and resources both on and off campus. To make an appointment to talk to a counselor at Cornell about sexual assault concerns, please call 895-4292. The Counseling Center is open Monday thru Friday 8am to 4:30pm, with extended hours available on Tuesday.
If it is after hours and you are in need of more immediate sexual assault services, the Waypoint Sexual Assault Support Program in Cedar Rapids has a 24-Hour Crisis Line, at 319-363-2093 (a local call from Mt. Vernon) or 800-208-0388. You may also go to one of the local hospital emergency rooms for medical assistance.
