Sexual Assault

If you or someone you know has been affected by sexual assault, the pages in this section provide information about options and resources both on and off campus.  To make an appointment to talk to a counselor at Cornell about sexual assault concerns, please call 895-4292.  The Counseling Center is open Monday thru Friday 8am to 4:30pm, with extended hours available on Tuesday.

If it is after hours and you are in need of more immediate sexual assault services, the Waypoint Sexual Assault Support Program in Cedar Rapids has a 24-Hour Crisis Line, at 319-363-2093 (a local call from Mt. Vernon) or 800-208-0388.  You may also go to one of the local hospital emergency rooms for medical assistance.
