The Commons now has a coffeehouse serving Starbucks products where students can meet, study, and enjoy wireless Internet access. Walls to the former Rathskeller entrance were removed, opening sight lines to the Orange Carpet and the center of The Commons. At the unveiling and dedication Feb. 4, donor and trustee Dean Riesen ’79 (speaking) dedicated the space to all professors who have made and will make a difference in the lives of Cornell students.
