"Marketing your programs, new products, or important messages does not have to be complicated. Simple methods work best. At Cornell, the best way to advertise anything on campus is by burning a big rock and painting your message on it with one simple color. Its easy and cost effective. While my colleagues at American Express have not caught on to the idea, I continue to suggest it. They often refer to me as the Marketing Maverick.
