Robert Replogle ’56, an internationally recognized cardiac-thoracic surgeon from Chicago, received the Distinguished Achievement
Award at homecoming. Alumni Leadership and Service Awards were presented to Douglas Kirkpatrick ’65 and Joan Landquist Kirkpatrick ’66 of Englewood, Colo., for assisting Cornell in recruiting
and retaining Colorado students; and Phil Gibbs ’66 of Moorestown, N.J., a class agent for 35 years. Special recognition was given to
Barron Bremner, who during two stints at Cornell held numerous positions including wrestling and football coach, athletics director, and vice president for institutional advancement.
