The Cornell Concert Choir performs in the rotunda of the State Capitol in Des Moines on March 9, the day the Iowa Legislature honored Cornell for 150 years in higher education. Resolutions were read in the House and Senate chambers. “Be it resolved by the House of Representatives, that the House recognizes Cornell College for its contributions to the state in general and to its students and the Mount Vernon community in particular, and extends congratulations to Cornell College on 150 years of dedicated service,” concluded the House resolution.
