The arrival of the Bryson sisters, Ivanona and Edwinna, at Cornell in the 1880s started that familys dynasty, which follows a lineage of mostly alumnae: Marion May Sturdevant Schrader 19 and Genevra Sturdevant Overholser 21 (husband, Craig Overholser 21), daughters of Ivanona Bryson Sturdevant; Marion Emily Schrader St. Clair 47 and Virginia Lee Schrader Waychoff Chouinard 49 (first husband, Walter F. Waychoff 49), daughters of Marion May; Mary Lothian Overholser 51 and Martha Overholser Osgood 52, daughters of Genevra and Craig; Lynn Adair Waychoff Warren 76, daughter of Virginia and Walter.

The Isaacs family boasts a graduate who later taught at Cornell: Emily Elizabeth Liz Isaacs 39, an English professor for 35 years. Her parents, Alfred Isaacs 06 and Eslie Smith Isaacs 07, started the dynasty that would count at least 20 Cornell alumni including: Helen Isaacs Leigh 42 and Fred Leigh 41; Susan Leigh Kingston 67 and Thomas Kingston 66; Janet Heger Larson 78, Jean Heger 79, and Karen Heger 81, all nieces of Thomas Kingston; Iola Isaacs 27.
Lupton
Ralph Leander Lupton 28 (wife, Winifred Lowe Lupton 33) joined his siblings H. Herman Lupton 27, Harriet Lupton Gable 29 (husband, James Gable 28), and Howard Lupton 33 at Cornell. Ralph left with a National Amateur Athletic Union wrestling championship and runner-up finish, Midwest AAU championship, and a legacy as the inventor of the Guillotine, a move to quickly pin an opponent. He was a Big Ten and NCAA champion while finishing his undergraduate work at Northwestern University, and is a member of the Cornell Sports Hall of Fame.
In the second generation of Luptons are Ralphs nephew, G. Clark Lupton 56 (wife, Nancy Cobb Lupton 59), and Harriets sons, the Rev. J. Winton Gable 51 and A. Barrie Gable 54.
