The Cornell Fellows program is appreciative of the support the College's alumni have made to the initiative. Cornell Alumnus Dean Riesen '79 shared his vision with the college and proposed the idea to the Board of Trustees in February 2004.
As Cornell Alumni, you have the opportunity to support the growth of the Cornell Fellows program in the following ways:
- Suggest a potential Cornell Fellows host site. To do so, contact Jason Napoli.
- Sponsor a Cornell Fellowship. Cost to sponsor a fellow is $5000 for a domestic fellowship and $7500 for an international fellowship. Contact RJ Holmes-Leopold in the Development Office to learn how you can support a fellow.
- Volunteer to house a student if they are in your city. If you have a spare bedroom and would consider hosting a student for a one- or two-month stay, contact Jason Napoli. Students provide their own transportation and are responsible for their meals.
