My fellowship experience:
This internship has therefore been a perfect experience.  Not only have I been able to mesh my love of travel and writing in an educational context, but I’ve been able to gain a jump-start on my professional life as well.  World Trade Press has provided me with the perfect opportunity to not only learn about the ins and outs of publishing, but also to get a taste of exactly the type of publishing work I plan to do in the future.

Aims of the Fellowship
The purpose of this Fellowship is to familiarize myself with the publishing world in a professional setting. I will learn key editorial skills and work with various publishing-related programs such as InDesign and Photoshop. I will work with my site mentor to complete hands-on projects and participate in seminars that will both educate me on the various stages of publishing and cater to my specific interests.
