My fellowship experience:
This fellowship has exposed me to various research techniques and skills. I further enhanced skills such as literature review, development of hypothesis and aims, as well as data analysis. Through this fellowship, I gained insight of what it is like to work in a clinical research laboratory as well as gained exposure to a healthcare setting. Through many educational opportunities, such as medical and neurology grand rounds, I learned about complex patient cases, current research projects, and new methods for patient care. I also had the opportunity to interact with many different levels of healthcare professionals.
