Major: Studio Art
Hometown: Herndon, Virginia

My fellowship experience:
I learned that it is possible to unite all three of my diverse interests--art, healthcare, and working with children. I had exposure a hospital setting and learned that I enjoyed it. Arts in medicine programs are still relatively new, but at Shands, it was clear how impactful the program was. I received experience working in a full-time position and I met a network of people who will serve as role models, mentors, and references.
