My fellowship experience:
Living
and working in a developing country exposed me to the intracies of
international non-profit work. I feel much more confident in my ability
to perform in a new and unfamiliar environment. I am comfortable living with
less because I now know that the things that I value the most are also
the things that are not ascribed any monetary value. The students, host
families, and community members that I interacted with during my two
month fellowship, demonstrated a passion for music, soccer, faith,
family, and community togetherness. My fellowship experience provided an ideal example of my
ability to perform and excel in an international environment.
