I gained experience in a wide range of research methods, including ecological surveys with which I was unfamiliar. I also was able to formulate my own research questions and design my own experiments, making me a more independent researcher.

Aims of the Fellowship
I conducted various population abundance experiments on a local salt marsh fish (the mummichog). I also performed geometric morphometric analysis of mummichogs from different habitats. Finally, I conducted work on mummichog population genetics.
