Aims of the Fellowship
The CNRC is the setting for numerous scientific discoveries which I had the privilege to be part of this last summer while I worked with Dr. C Wayne Smith.  Dr. Smith's laboratory focuses on inflammation and wound healing with an objective of determining the mechanism for leukocyte accumulation at sites of inflammation and tissue injury.
