Aims of the Fellowship
This summer I served as a project intern in a lab at Baylor
College of Medicine's Molecular and Human Genetics department. My immediate
supervisor was Dr. Marwan Shinawi, a practicing MD pediatrician who worked in
Dr. Beaudet's lab. Dr. Shinawi has many
projects underway and I was able to participate in more than one of these.
