The Commencement ceremony was the final event of a weekend that celebrates the achievements of the graduating class. Other events included a reception for graduating seniors on Friday and the annual Baccalaureate service. Seniors' words of gratitude for family, friends, and mentors were read at the service. Chaplain of the College Catherine Quehl-Engel, a 1989 Cornell graduate, delivered the sermon.
