Recently, the Volunteer Services Office and the Leadership
Programs Office merged to form a central clearinghouse of leadership and
service opportunities. The result is the new Civic Engagement Office. The new mission of the office is based on the Servant Leadership Model and is explained here.

Here is just a small list of the great things Cornell students, faculty, and staff did in the areas of Civic Engagement during the 2006-2007 school year:

- Total Money Raised for Philanthropic Causes - > $60,000
