Religious Life and Activities

The Chaplain's Office coordinates Wednesday ecumenical chapel services and Friday Communion, and provides pastoral care, spiritual guidance, and religious programming. A student Peer Ministry Team assists the Chaplain with worship planning and leadership, ministry of presence, and programs such as Buddhist-Christian spirituality, retreats, lectures, interfaith dialogue dinners, and campus stress relievers. There are also informal Bible study groups throughout campus. The Chaplain's Office helps coordinate carpools for those who wish to worship in a church, synagogue, or mosque in Cedar Rapids or Iowa City.
