Office of Special Advising
Academic support services are offered through the Office of Special Advising. These include: peer content tutoring for most academic subjects: accommodation services for students with learning and/or physical disabilities; and academic advising for students with learning disabilities. Students experiencing academic difficulty are sometimes required to work with the Director of Special Advising. Standardized tests and learning contracts are used to identify problem areas and to recommend methods to achieve academic success. All services maintain standards of confidentiality required by the American Psychological Association. There is no charge for any of these services.
