Early Decision PlanStudents who wish an early notice of admission, and who definitely expect to attend Cornell if offered admission, should apply under the Early Decision Plan. Candidates must have a good record in college preparatory courses. Admission will be based on academic achievement, school recommendations, and SAT or ACT scores. An application for admission and all other required credentials must be received at the College by December 1. Candidates will be notified of an admission decision by December 20. Students offered admission under the Early Decision Plan will be asked to reserve their place in the entering class by February 1 (see ``Enrollment Reservation'').
