Teaching Major in Theatre and Speech: A minimum of 10 course credits in Theatre and Communications Studies, which include COM 121, 235, 323, 326; THE 115, 311, 312, 107 or 108 or 302, 364 (or with departmental approval, 363), 515, two courses selected from 551, 552, 553, and 554; and an additional quarter credit in either THE 515 or COM 561. In addition to the foregoing requirements, prospective teachers must also apply for admission to the Teacher Education Program and complete a second major in Secondary Education described under Education.
