Environmental Studies (ENV)Advisors: Peter Thompson and David Lyon The environment is the domain of many disciplines; therefore, the student interested in environmental studies will best be served within the broad context of liberal education. However, to assure depth in at least one discipline, it is recommended that the environmental studies major by pursued in conjunction with a second major. Cornell offers Combined Degrees Programs leading to the Master's degree in several fields, including Forestry, Environmental Management, Remote Sensing, and Environmental Advocacy (see Professional Programs). INT 201 (Statistics) is recommended for all majors. CHE 121-122 are strongly recommended for those interested in environmental science.
