201. Statistical Methods I
Elementary study of describing data. Descriptive statistics, probability
and sampling, estimation, and hypothesis testing as applied to one- and
two-variable problems. Prerequisites: two years of high school algebra, sophomore standing, and a writing-designated course (W). Open to first year students in Terms 5 through 9 only. (Mathematics)
202. Statistical Methods II
A continuation of INT 201, Statistical Methods I. This course will explore in more depth several methods of analyzing data. Topics covered will be chosen from linear regression (simple linear and multivariate), ANOVA, nonparametrics, and categorical data analysis. Prerequisite: INT 201. Alternate years. CANNON
