Counseling Services

The Director of Counseling Services and practicum students from area university doctoral programs work with students on concerns involving educational and personal counseling. The counseling staff offers short-term counseling and will assist with referrals to community resources for longer-term counseling, specialized services, and medication. Staff also provide educational programming, consultations with concerned others, and maintain a library of informational and self-help resources. College counselors maintain the standards of confidentiality required by the American Psychological Association, and counseling records are kept separate from other student records.
