Cornell attracts students from many states and nations. Compare our regional diversity to other schools at the Chronicle of Higher Ed's website.
A Diverse Community
While Cornell attracts many of the top Iowa students, more than 80 percent come from 47 other states and more than a dozen countries. About 25 percent of each entering class consists of students of color and international students. And students recently listed more than 33 different choices for their spiritual/religious preferences. This diversity contributes to a campus culture that welcomes and celebrates individual and cultural differences.
