"Extraordinary Opportunities" Campaign Launched in Phoenix

On March 1, 2008, Cornell College officially launched the Extraordinary Opportunities Campaign in Arizona at the Kerr Cultural Center in Scottsdale, AZ. Cornellians were treated to the gentle jazz sounds of Frost and Frost, played by Edward “Jack” Frost ’63 and Lisa Frost. With Cornell graduates as young as Erin Weir ‘06 and as young-at-heart as Joe Morton ’50 and Richard Wardell ‘50 in attendance, President Les Garner introduced Cornell's $92 million campaign to the Arizona alumni by announcing the campaign had already raised $78.5 million. Alumni enjoyed dinner, drinks, dessert and the company of fellow Cornellians, punctuated by announced improvements, additions and upgrades to the campus that will truly create extraordinary opportunities for alumni to come.
