Brackett House, Cornell College's guest facility, is located in historical
Mount Vernon, Iowa. Built in 1877, this antique-filled stately home provides
modern comfort and convenience. Each of the four guest rooms has a private
bath. One can accommodate up to six guests; another four guests; and the
other two rooms, two guests each.
Within easy walking distance are the campus of Cornell College and the
pleasant shops of Mount Vernon. The cities of Cedar Rapids and Iowa City
can be reached by car in minutes. The famous Amana Colonies are less than
an hour's drive away.
Brackett House is newly equipped with wireless network access.
