Brackett House

Brackett House Bed and Breakfast has closed for guest stays.

The goal of Brackett House has been to provide a pleasant and comfortable stay for guests, with the advantage of close proximity to campus.  As the 135-year-old home has aged, maintenance needs have outgrown the revenue available from the business and are beginning to hinder the guest experience.  The college is still determining how to repurpose the house.

In recent years a Sleep Inn and Suites has opened in Mount Vernon, and other lodging alternatives afford many choices for visitors.  Please refer to our list of area hotels and lodging to arrange a stay while visiting campus.
