Cornell's Bed and Breakfast Guest House

Brackett House, Cornell College's guest facility, is located across the street from the college in historical Mount Vernon, Iowa. Built in 1877, this antique-filled stately home provides modern comfort and convenience. Each of the four guest rooms has a private bath. One room can accommodate up to six guests; another four guests; and the other two rooms, two guests each.

Brackett House is within easy walking distance of the campus of Cornell College and the pleasant shops of downtown Mount Vernon. The cities of Cedar Rapids and Iowa City can be reached by car in minutes and the famous Amana Colonies are less than an hour's drive away.
