Back to Richard and Isaac

June bugs lay their eggs in shallow burrows in fields and lawns. Once the grub emerges, they feed on plants and crops. They burrow into the soil several times before they become full grown adults.

The June beetle (June bug) is a favored insect for eating in the Philippines. They are fried, broiled and sautéed with vegetables.
