Yellow Jackets are closely related to bees. They are slightly more slender and elongated. Yellow Jackets share the same yellow and black markings as bees. They can be found hovering near trash cans or any area where food is present. They are especially attracted to sugars and sweet scents. Unlike bees, yellow jackets are known to sting predators repeatedly. The stings don't typically cause any more complications than a bee sting but people with allergies need to be extremely careful.
