Blattiphobia: The fear of roaches.

Cockroaches originated 280 million years ago. There are 5,000 species of roaches in the world. Roaches can be found in every climate. A roach can live a week without it's head and only dies because it no longer has a mouth to eat or drink through. A reason they might be feared is beacuse they are large, ugly, dirty, and are often found in one's home. Many people are also allergic to roaches, which can cause asthma.
