Merci Wolff '13

EMILY'S List, Washington, DC

Merci Wolff '13 spent the summer of 2010 as an intern with EMILY'S List in Washington, D.C. SHe worked in the Political Opportunity Program (POP), which focuses on electing women at the state and local level.

Due to confidentiality reasons, Merci cannot reveal her exact duties, but she has the following to say about her experience, "I think with Cornell being on the block plan I have learned a great deal of time management, which proved to be very useful in the business world. Being on the block plan also allows me to learn a particular thing and work on it for the next month, much like a summer internship. It allowed me to dive straight into my work, get started and produce a finished project in a timely manner."
