Audriana Logan '12

Office of Congressman Dave Loebsack, Cedar Rapids, IA

During the summer of 2010, Audriana Logan '12 had the chance to serve as an intern with the Cedar Rapids office of Congressman Dave Loebsack, a former Cornell College professor from the Department of Politics.  As part of her experience, she was able to see how a local office of a congressman works; her tasks ranged from the mundane (contacting every fire department for the name of the fire chief), to the extraordinary (staffing the Congressman at an event celebrating the 75th birthday of Social Security).
