Airport National Golf Course, Cedar Rapids, IA

Jesse Dickinson spent six weeks during April and May interning at the Airport National Golf Course in Cedar Rapids, IA.   His internship experience centered around creating and marketing the "Golf Cedar Rapids" event.  Dickenson created publicity materials, organized and scheduled golf pros and volunteers for the event and coordinated vendor displays.

Says Dickinson, "after working for over 100 hours on everything from calling teaching pros to creating newspaper ads, I realized that event marketing and planning takes a lot of work.  At the same time, though, I picked up skills that will help me after graduation."
