Frank Cherry and Pablo Sitjar

Frank Cherry and Pablo Sitjar are partners at RenMax Sociedad de Bolsa, a brokerage house registered with the Uruguayan Stock Exchange. RenMax provides investment advice and services to companies and individuals, mostly dealing with bonds and emerging markets.

Mr. Cherry holds degrees from the University of Michigan (B.A. 1963), the University of Chicago (M.A. 1965) and Thunderbird Graduate School for International Management (1969).
Since 1993 he has acted as an independent consultant through his company Southern Cone Management Corporation, New York. 

Mr. Sitjar is also a teacher of finance at the graduate school level of the Universidad de Montevideo and is a frequent contributor to Portafolio, the leading business magazine in Uruguay. He has also spoken at seminars on risk analysis and financial institutions. Mr. Sitjar received his BA at the Universidad de la Republica, Montevideo, in Public Accounting. He also participated in an International Exchange Program at the London Business School and then proceeded to earn his MBA at MIT, Cambridge.

Mr. Cherry and Mr. Sitjar spent a day together at Cornell College visiting with students interested in international business, finance, entrepreneurship, and investments. They lectured at the international economics course taught by Professor A’amer Farooqi, attended a brownbag lunch with students, and met with students interested in a summer internship opportunity with RenMax in Uruguay.
