2008 Boys and Girls Individual Camp

Middle School Camp - $65.00
For Boys and Girls entering grades 5-9

12 hours of instruction

  • Camp runs Monday-Thursday June 23-26
  • Camp sessions run from 1-4:00 PM daily
  • Special parent program at 3:00 PM Thursday

The boys’ and girls’ middle school camp stresses fundamentals while incorporating team concepts and play. Emphasis will be placed on developing individual offensive and defensive skills. Teaching sessions will include instruction on shooting, dribbling, passing, rebounding, team defense, team offense, individual defense and individual offense. All campers will receive a camp evaluation, camp t-shirt and will be challenged to meet their potential as a player and person.

 

Elementary School Camp - $65.00
For Boys and Girls entering grades K-5

12 hours of instruction

  • Camp runs Monday-Thursday June 23-26
  • Camp Sessions run from 9 AM-12 PM Daily
  • Special parent program at 11:00 AM Thursday

The boys’ and girls’ elementary camp is designed to introduce and teach the basic fundamentals of basketball. The camp utilizes a variety of innovative teaching methods, drills and games to teach these fundamentals while not losing sight of the primary purpose of camp- TO HAVE A GREAT EXPERIENCE! All campers will receive a camp t-shirt.

Facilities:
We have the capability to use 16 basketball hoops and six courts for camp. All camp activities will take place in the Small Multi-Sport Center on the campus of Cornell College.

Levels of Competition:
The high quality of our staff and the size of our facility allow us to place each camper in both an age and skill appropriate environment and provide them individual instruction. This creates a safer setting for all campers and allows for each camper to improve and receive instruction at each camper’s ideal rate.

Unique:
This camp focuses on the fundamentals to play the game successfully, age and skill appropriate instruction and an energy and creativity which allow all campers to stay focused and have fun.
