Henderson named IIAC Male Athlete of the Week 

MOUNT VERNON — Cornell junior Bryan Henderson (Coleraine, North Ireland/Coleraine) has been named the Iowa Conference’s Men’s Tennis and Male Athlete of the Week for the period ending March 9.

Henderson led the Rams to a perfect 3-0 weekend with lopsided dual wins over Buena Vista (9-0) and Bethany Lutheran (8-1) March 8 in Storm Lake, and Milwaukee School of Engineering (9-0) March 9 in Mount Vernon.

Henderson finished the week 5-0 with a pair of straight-set wins at No. 1 singles, two victories at No. 1 doubles and a win at No. 2 doubles. He raised his season record to 4-4 in singles play, including 3-0 at the No. 1 spot in the lineup. Henderson stands 4-5 in doubles competition this season.
